The Corporate Council on Volunteering works collaboratively to deliver strong leadership in the area of corporate citizenship in Canada. The Corporate Council on Volunteering was founded by Volunteer Canada, in partnership with The Home Depot Canada, in 2005. It brings together a diverse and talented group of business innovators from many industries to:

Supporting those who support the volunteer efforts of employees

Through corporate community involvement, companies improve brand reputation, recruit and retain talented employees, increase social capital and invest in professional development—all while making a positive impact in the communities in which they work and live.

With a solid grasp of the non–profit perspective and a trusted history of developing corporate relationships, Volunteer Canada provides professional development and strategic counsel on how best to bridge the gap between the voluntary and corporate sectors, as well as speaking and other leadership opportunities to advance the practice.
