Michael Cybulski

Michael Cybulski
Michael Cybulski has been on the Board of Directors for the Southeastern New Brunswick Volunteer Centre for 10 years and has been board president and chair for the last six. Michael brings a broad skill set to the Centre, from work in the voluntary sector and from three levels of government. The Southeastern New Brunswick Volunteer Centre has played an intricate role in the community since it's inception 25 years ago. Michael led the Centre through its evolution from having a board, which managed most of the decisions, to where they are today, having a governed board under Carver Principle where the Executive Director can freely manage the Centre. This change has allowed the Centre to flourish. Today, the Centre supports over 150 registered not-for-profit agencies and organizations within the Southeastern area of New Brunswick.

Michael has been a community leader in business, as District Banking Manager for a large Canadian Bank to his current role as an Atlantic Regional Account Manager for Pollock National Lease. In this capacity, he's been able to gage the state of Volunteerism throughout the Atlantic Canadian Provinces. He sees a need not only for the business community to further support volunteering, but also the need for all three levels of Government to create programs which will support and encourage Canadians to get engaged.

He loves the time spent with his children, Madison and Owen, and volunteers as a coach for their sporting activities and with their school.

He's honoured and proud to be a part of the Board and is enthused about using his skill set, which includes the ability to bring people together and to get the job done, to continue to push Volunteerism to the forefront across Canada.
